What is Bina Mulya Samajik Suraksha Yojana?

The Bina Mulya Samajik Suraksha Yojana project aims to provide government benefits to the unorganized sector regularly. Workers will have equal opportunity to benefit from the government’s effort to reduce occupational disparities. This project will provide workers economic freedom and beneficiaries a better life.

Benefits

1. An emergency fund

  • All qualified workers must contribute Rs 25 per month to the provident fund.
  • The state government will match the worker’s contribution up to 30 rupees.
  • The state pays the federally approved interest on general provident fund contributions annually.
  • The worker or their nominees will get the whole sum plus interest if the recipient turns sixty, leaves the program, or dies.
  • Not giving for three fiscal years will end the subscriber’s account. The Assistant Labour Commissioner may reactivate such an account if subscribers request it and provide an explanation for non-payment.

2. Health and family welfare 

The West Bengal Health Scheme pays Rs 20,000 annually to households in need of medical care.

They will provide these advantages:

  • Clinical testing cost.
  • Total Medicine cost.
  • Hospitalization costs.
  • Many times a year, the recipient and family will have their claims granted. However, 20,000 rupees is the maximum yearly aid.

For any procedure, the patient or family member may get up to Rs 60,000 yearly in financial help. We can meet these costs with this help:

  • You’ll earn Rs 1,000 for the first five days after losing your job.
  • Additionally, you’d get Rs 100 extra for the following days.
  • Maximum 10,000 rupees.

3. Human disease or death

  • The nominee receives Rs 200,000 if the recipient dies accidentally.
  • The agent receives Rs 50,000 if the recipient dies unnaturally.
  • A recipient with a 40% severe disability receives Rs 50,000.
  • A total and irreparable loss of eyes, hands, or feet, or partial sight loss or limb incapacity, will result in a two hundred thousand rupee award.
  • If you lose one hand or foot or one eye permanently, you may win 100,000 rupees.

4. Independent learning

Beneficiary children may apply for school funding in the following areas:

  • Yearly eleventh grade costs 4,000 rupees.
  • The 12th grade costs Rs 5,000 annually.
  • ITI trainees get Rs 6,000 annually.
  • Graduate students get Rs 6,000 annually.
  • Postgraduates get Rs 10,000 annually.
  • The polytechnic gets 10,000 rupees yearly.
  • Engineers and mechanics could earn 30,000 rupees annually.
  • This initiative may provide an Rs 25,000 prize to a single daughter with an undergraduate degree in skill development. Only two women will get this award.
  • This benefit is offered to students at federal, state, or other legally recognized educational institutions.
  • This program does not allow students to apply for or earn federal scholarships.

Bina Mulya Samajik Suraksha Yojana Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be permanent West Bengal residents.
  • A candidate between 18 and 60 is good.
  • The applicant’s household income can be at most 6,500 rupees per month.
